Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj

It is well known fact that Jagadguru Shree Krialuji Mahraj is the supreme spiritual master and 5th original jagadguru of the present age. He took birth on October 5, 1922 the auspicious full moon night in Mangarh,a tiny village in northern India. His entire life has been dedicated to the inspiring soul on the path devotion to God. Through enlighting discourses and chanting the holy name, Shree Kripaluji Maharaj ( lovingly addressed asshree Maharajji by their devotees) has been making unceasing effort to reveal the true philosophy from The Hindu Vedic Scriptures to mankind in the simplest form possible so that they can attain their true goal of  God realization. According to Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, the desired goal of soul is to attain the selfless divine love of Radhakrishna who are eternally related to you. He teaches that Radha Krishna are the supreme form of the god and the form of divine love and it could be only attained by the four major spiritual practices Hari guru devotion, selfness devotion, continuous devotion and ananya devotion. At the young age  of  34, he was awarded the title of Jagadguru By Kashi Vidvat Parishad, the distinguished organization of 500 Vedic Scholars  in the holy city of Varanasi on 14 Jan 1957. The title of Jagadguru has been granted four times before.

Before getting this title  in October 1955, he organized a religious convention in chitrakoot in which the prominent spiritual leader if india and the other jagadgurus participated. Mahamahopadhyaya Giridhar Sharma , president of Kashi vidvat parishad, had also come and was thrilled with divine dignity and divine knowledge of ( hindu scriptures) of shree maharajji.
Another convention was organized by shree kripaluji maharaj in 1956 in kanpur.the chief secretary of Kashi vidvat parishad Raj Narayan, what shastree, scholarly figure of Varanasi, happened to come and listened to shree maharajji discourse. He was also overtaken with the unparalleled wisdom of shree maharajji. When he went back home , on behalf of Kashi vidvat parishad, he invited shree kripaluji maharaj to grace the scholars and the  pandits of Varanasi with his divine speech and thus , shree maharajji went to Kashi in 1957. The congregation had almost all the scholars of Varanasi and other provinces of India.shree maharajji lectured for seven days over the Hindu scriptures. They had never seen such divine personality who is absolutely well versed In all of scriptures ( Vedas, Upanishads, sutras,vedanta, itihas, darshan shastra) .impressed with his knowledge , on 14 Jan 1957 the scholars unanimously declared him as the supreme jagadguru of this age.and also conferred on him many titles like Shree mad pad vakya pranan paravareen, ved marga pratishtapan acharya, Nikhil darshan sananvay acharya, sanatan Vedic Dharma sat sampradaya paramacharya, Bhaktiyog ras Avatar and jagadguruttam ( Supreme jagadguru ).
After accepting the title of jagadguru, shree maharajji travelled throughout India continuously for around fourteen years. He delivered month -long discourses in various cities, lecturing to tens of thousands of people.
In 1970, he established jagadguru kripalu parishad ( jkp) , a charitable religious organization, to disseminate his teachings throughout the world.
Shree maharajji composed thousand of bhajans and kirtan , including Prem ras madira, a collection of 1008 devotional songs. His book on philosophy Prem ras sidhhant discusses the ultimate aim of the the individual soul, the importance of the attaining of divine grace and the indespensibility of surrendering to a saint. Shree maharajji ‘s bhajan books include braj ras madhuri, yugal madhuri, yugal shatak, bhakti shatak, yugal ras, Shyama Shyam geet, Radha Govind geet, krishna dqadashi and Radha trayodashi.
During his lifetime, he personally trained more than 50 preachers male and female monastic disciples. They continue to travel in india and around the world as his ordained representatives spreading his teachings.
